Currently practicing at Coffs Harbour Health Campus, Macksville District Hospital, Bellinger River District Hospital and Baringa Private Hospital. Dr Das specialises in general, upper gastrointestinal surgery, hepatobiliary surgery, bariatric surgery, ERCP and endoscopy.

Since establishing his practice in Coffs Harbour in 2018, Dr Das has established an enthusiastic administration team and experienced interdisciplinary bariatric team to provide his patients with the best care tailored to their needs. He looks forward to meeting with you soon.

Experience

Dr Das has gained experience in many countries including Australia, India, France and the Maldives and is the founder of Coffs Coast Metabolic Surgery. Since moving to Australia in 2011, he has gained further surgical experience in various Australian public and private hospitals including the Liverpool network, RPA, Dubbo and now Coffs Harbour. He is actively involved in teaching and is currently a Lecturer at the Rural School of Medicine, UNSW. He has previously taught as a Conjoint Associate Lecturer for the University of Western Sydney, the University of Sydney and School of Rural Health.
